On 30 June 2021, after seven years of successful fundraising initiatives and more than $1.2 million in charitable donations, Cromwell formally wound-up the Cromwell Property Group Foundation (Foundation).
Cromwell will continue its legacy of charitable giving by supporting causes directly.
Acting CEO Michael Wilde commented: "We have a long history of supporting worthy causes and, despite the Foundation’s wind-up, we will continue to do so through direct donations, staff volunteering and other fundraisers.”
“We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the Foundation over the years as well as those who participated in fundraising initiatives or directly financially contributed themselves.”
Since its inception in 2014, the Foundation has provided transformative donations to organisations that tend to miss out on the spotlight, but whose work has been able to benefit from the level of support the Foundation was able to provide.
Causes which have benefitted from the Foundation have included Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Research Foundation, Parkinson’s NSW, Active Rehabilitation Research Foundation, Bolton Clarke, MercyCare and Griffith University, and Lady Musgrave Trust.
