One of the highlights on the Sydney golfing calendar is right around the corner, with the 9th Annual Parkinson’s NSW Golf Classic set for November 12.
Hosted by Monash Country Club on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the Cromwell-sponsored event will offer players the opportunity to golf on a championship course while supporting a cause that is close to the hearts of many Australians.
Cromwell is a proud supporter of Parkinson’s NSW through the Cromwell Foundation and was also a major sponsor of the event last year.
Cromwell Property Group CEO Paul Weightman said the day was a great opportunity to try one of the country’s best courses while supporting the people, families and carers living with Parkinson’s.
“It is a great chance to raise funds and awareness for an organisation that is leading the way in support of Parkinson’s disease. All of the funds raised on the day will help support the facilities and services provided by Parkinson’s NSW.
“We’re extremely proud to be the presenting sponsor again this year,” Mr Weightman said.
The 72-hole championship course provides an exceptional location for the event, with Monash Country Club ranked amongst the Top 100 Australian Golf Courses by Australian Golf Digest. It boasts views of the Pacific Ocean from both the course and club.
The day will include a number of on course competitions including nearest to the pin, longest drive and putting. After the activities, players will enjoy a full buffet dinner and live entertainment in the Club House overlooking the course. A number of prizes will also be on offer with a charity auction providing additional ways for attendees to contribute to Parkinson’s NSW.
